We started breeding Appaloosa's about ten years ago. We purchased our first stallion, a black blanket, and luck would have it, he died shortly after. A few months later, luck visted us again, and we lost two very nice mares and a foal in accidents. Not giving up, we kept looking for the right horses. Ten years later we have a small collection of equines we are proud of.
We ride our horses, and honestly that is what they are for. A honest horse to do a honest job on the farm. Not just something to look at. We don't have any stock that is halter bred. All of our stock is the working class.
I enjoy packing out for the weekend, and I need to know the horse will be able to do his job. That is why all of our mare's are field tested. We do a lot of trial riding, and enjoy discovering our great country from the saddle. 'The best seat in the house'. Plus, we are training the next generation of horse men.
All the pictures on this website are from horses on our farm. Some have passed and others still remain. I am proud of each and every one of them. I have to admit that we have had a lot of good luck to.

I have owned Apps for twenty years, and wanted to give the breed credit where credit is due. Our goal was simply to build a better horse. As a breeder you represent the next generation of foals, and the responsibility to get it right. We do our best to represent the breed.
One foal at a time.
